HSP spends an average of $393 for every animal during an average 36-day stay at the shelter. Some animals need extensive medical treatment, which costs even more. The adoption fees do not come close to covering the amount we spend on each animal. Please donate to help us care for these animals!
Our mission is to serve the community through
the compassionate care of all animals and wildlife. We put
a lot of effort and care into our animals - up front. To
help us continue to provide the care that our homeless pets
