Advocacy for Feral Cats and other Animals
HSP offers advocacy for animals in our community. We closely follow public policy and legislation, animal cruelty cases (including those with which HSP is not directly involved), and advocate on behalf of the animals in a number of ways, including the media and direct action
Humane Society of Pinellas was instrumental in the creation the Feral and Free-Roaming Cats Work Study Group. The recommendations of the Group were approved by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners in December of 2009. Read the recommendations of the Work Study Group here.
