During 2004, 955 kittens, cats, puppies and dogs
went through our Foster Program. Most were kittens
and puppies that arrived at the shelter motherless
and much too young to be placed for adoption. They
were then placed into one of our certified foster
homes where they were cared for and loved until
they were medically and physically able to be placed
in our Adoption Center.
The Foster Program is certainly one of our more
valued programs. It exists because of the dedication
of our wonderful foster parents. The Foster Program
costs approximately $390.00 a month to operate.
