Help Them Heal Last year, our medical staff averaged treating 73 animals a day at our Sterling and Calvin Medical Center. The treatments varied from minor to critical and covered a wide range of illnesses and injuries. In 2004, over $167,000.00 was spent to help these animals live a happy and healthy life. 3,999 cats and dogs were placed in loving homes last year, many after healing from weeks of treatment. The Help Them Heal program works because of dedicated staff, volunteers and kindhearted animal lovers, whose generous donations make a difference in the life of a precious cat or dog. With just a click of your mouse, you can Help Them Heal at our Sterling and Calvin Medical Center. Select a cat or dog that you would like to help, read his or her story, then simply click "Make a Donation" and know that, today, you made a real difference in a real life. Today, one life just got better, because of you. You can Help Them Heal!

Sadie On May 20, the HSP Ambulance Operator picked Sadie up as a stray. She had been attacked by a dog, so she went straight the emergency vet, where she was treated for puncture wounds and diagnosed with a fractured tibia. HSP medical staff splinted her leg and she is healing nicely, even after a bout with upper respiratory infection. She is only a year old. As you can see, she hasn't slowed down a bit and she is well on her way to a full recovery. Please donate today to help cover medical treatment for Sadie and other animals picked up by the HSP Animal Ambulance!
