S.N.I.P. (Spay-Neuter Incentive Program)
If you have a dog or cat that has recently given birth, we can help! Give the entire litter to the Humane Society of Pinellas and we will SPAY the mother for you at NO CHARGE. We will even allow you FOSTER the litter in order to get them off to a healthy start. Our kittens and puppies are adopted into new homes fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
Aid-A-Pet

We provide financial assistance to committed pet owners with financial hardship whose animals need diagnosis, treatment and/or surgery to correct a serious medical condition. The veterinarian's fees are paid by the Humane Society and, in turn, the owner repays the Humane Society.

This program is currently on hold due to lack of funds.  We look forward to reinstating it.  You can help to reinstate this program: Make a donation and indicate the funds are for the Aid-A-Pet program.

S.P.I.N. (Special Pets In Need)

Any dog or cat who has been waiting for a home for over three months, or any pet who is 6 years of age or older is classified as a Special Pet In Need at the Humane Society of Pinellas.  Check out our S.P.I.N. pets!
Foster Care
Some of the animals we receive are orphans, injured, abused or sick. These animals are placed in special foster homes until they are nursed back to health and can be placed for adoption.
Educational Programs
We provide educational materials, seminars and field trips to schools, youth organizations and the general public on the proper handling and welfare of animals.
Nursing Home Visits
Visits by our animals and volunteers to hospitals and nursing homes bring joy and unconditional love to everyone.

Lost and Found
